Secondary path without rip-and-replace
A second acquirer, gateway lane, or APM can take bounded volume while the primary stays. Goals: capacity, redundancy, corridor fit, or commercial leverage. Not chaos routing that breaks reconciliation and support. Redundancy is infrastructure. It is not a claim that every decline can be recovered.
Failover that is real
Define which traffic can move, under what decline or outage conditions, with what settlement and reporting impact, and who owns runbooks. Untested failover is theater. Prove bounded volume first. Then define when weight increases.
Corridors
Match EU / UK / US and cross-border flows to rails customers use and ops can run. More logos at checkout is not redundancy.
What we do / What we don't
Do: Design and prove secondary paths; keep vendor-agnostic fit.
Don't: Sell a house PSP or claim every decline can be recovered.
